In the morning, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, including Bayon Temple, Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace, and Suor Prat Towers. Continue by passing Chao Say Devoda Temple, Thommanon Temple, and Ta Keo Temple.
Proceed to Ta Prohm Temple, famously known from the Hollywood movie Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie. The dramatic sight of giant tree roots intertwined with ancient ruins and dense jungle surroundings makes this one of the most atmospheric and popular temples in Angkor.
In the afternoon, visit the world-famous Angkor Wat Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the finest example of classical Khmer architecture. Angkor Wat is a national symbol of Cambodia, featured on its flag, and remains the country’s most iconic attraction. Proper time management is recommended to explore the vast complex thoroughly.
